Convention Housing Update
Limited rooms are currently available through the convention housing block. We anticipate additional rooms becoming available after the May 7th cancellation deadline.
Be reminded that reservations can be canceled or changed without penalty until May 7. Rooms canceled after May 7 will be subject to a charge of 1 night room and tax for each room canceled.
Through May 30, changes and cancellations can be made online using the link in your reservation acknowledgment, via email (help@orchid.events), or by calling 800-989-4008. After this date, you must contact the hotel directly to make changes or cancellations. Please be prepared to share your rooming list and payment information after May 30th.
Convention Registration
Convention registration will open on Friday, April 18, and close on Wednesday, May 28, at 5 p.m. No changes or refunds will be permitted after this date. Registration will be completed via the Texas FFA Roster System. All students and advisors must have a completed waiver before registering. Please remember that all convention attendees must complete a convention-specific waiver before registering. Convention pricing will be posted here after Wednesday, April 9 (upon board approval).
Rodeo Registration will open on April 18, along with general registration.
Convention Center Space
As the Texas FFA Convention continues to grow, we have identified strategies to address potential space issues and safety concerns. This year, we will have an overflow room as well as a secondary Lone Star Stage.
In the past, there has been an expectation that all students attend every session. However, due to limited seating in the arena, we want to prepare you for the possibility that your students may need to utilize the overflow space if seats are not available.
Additionally, we encourage you to take advantage of the many opportunities available throughout the week, including business and industry experiences, local attractions, the exhibit hall, and various convention workshops.
While we strongly encourage you to prioritize delegate attendance, please plan accordingly for potential space constraints and make the most of the other convention experiences available for your remaining students.
We will update and post the preliminary schedule in the very near future.
Virtual Convention Option
Texas FFA will offer a virtual convention option this year at a rate of $25 per member. Through the virtual registration, students will have access to view the General Session, Lone Star Ceremonies, select convention workshops, and the business session. Registered virtual attendees will be permitted to vote during a specified window of time. Texas FFA will provide a Convention Packet that will include a daily schedule of activities, POA planning guide, and more. Convention Courtesy Corps Application
The 2025 Texas FFA State Convention Courtesy Corps application process is open and will close on April 12, 2025, at 11:59 pm. To access the application link, click here. Convention Media Program Application
This year’s Convention Media Program application is now available. We encourage any members who are interested in news journalism, photography or videography to apply! Please visit the website here to access the application or for more information. Applications will close at 11:59 pm on April 18.
Commodity Contest
This initiative encourages agricultural literacy, critical thinking, and creativity while allowing chapters to share their knowledge with peers, industry professionals, and the broader Texas FFA community. Chapters are challenged to an Educational Video Submission and an Interactive Booth Design Prototype.
The winning chapter will display its booth in the Texas FFA Exhibit Hall (July 1-3), where thousands of attendees will experience their educational showcase. The winning video will be featured at the Texas FFA Convention and shared on official FFA media platforms. Learn more here.
Convention T-Shirt Design Contest
The Rusk FFA chapter is hosting the Third Annual Texas FFA Convention T-Shirt Design Contest in collaboration with Texas FFA. Each chapter is encouraged to submit a design. The winning design will be sold in conjunction with this summer’s convention. The design deadline is Friday, March 21st. Learn more here!

This year’s Texas FFA Foundation Ambassador Applications are now open! The Ambassador program provides a unique insight and behind-the-scenes look at the state convention.
