Texas FFA Convention Update

Important Convention Update

We have recently been informed that our previously scheduled concert performer, Randal King,  is no longer able to participate in the 2026 Texas FFA Convention. We are actively working to secure a replacement performer and will provide an update as soon as possible.

In light of this change, and to avoid requiring teachers to complete the registration process more than once, we are taking additional time as we work to secure a replacement performer. We are committed to opening convention registration on or before April 30, regardless of the status of the concert performer.

The convention pricing sheet remains available on the website and may be used for planning purposes as you work with your school or district finance office.

We sincerely apologize for this delay and recognize the inconvenience it may cause. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this unexpected situation.

Texas FFA Convention Housing

Please remember to review your housing needs and cancel any unnecessary rooms as soon as possible. Rooms canceled after April 22 will be subject to a charge of one night’s room and tax for each room canceled.

Additional rooms are becoming available as we approach the April 22 cancellation deadline, so we encourage you to continue checking the housing link regularly if you still need accommodations. Several groups who were booked at multiple hotels have recently released a large quantity of rooms.

Convention Registration

For your planning purposes, the convention pricing has been updated on the website

Please note that concert capacity will be limited this year to ensure safety and allow for appropriate ingress and egress within the convention center. We are required to adhere to capacity limits established by the convention center and fire marshal.  The overflow area will be available for advisors and other students who do not wish to purchase a concert ticket. Additional activities will still be available on Tuesday night, including the rodeo finals, a magic show on the Lone Star Stage, and various local attractions.

Texas FFA Business Session Packet
The 98th Annual Texas FFA Business Session Packet is now available for review here on the Texas FFA Convention website. Please note that an updated version of the Delegate Business Session Packet is now available. This version includes clarified language that was not captured in the previous version, to ensure alignment with the amendment as approved by the Board of Directors. We encourage you to review the updated packet in preparation for the convention and delegate business session.

The association balance sheet and 2026–2027 budget will be added following the June Q4 Board Meeting. For questions, please contact jennifer@texasffa.org

Texas FFA Rodeo

Texas FFA Rodeo registration will open in conjunction with the convention registration in early April. New this year, students will complete the application, gain parent and FFA Advisor approval and will then have the option to pay via credit card at the time of registration. Rodeo contestants will receive two wristbands to be on the grounds. All other attendees must purchase a discounted ticket.

Texas FFA attendees may purchase discounted rodeo tickets here. Everyone must have a ticket to enter, and discounted tickets will not be available onsite. The rodeo will be held at Cowtown Coliseum. On Monday, July 6, the Long Go begins at 10:00 AM (doors open at 8:30 AM), followed by the Second Go at 1:00 PM or at the conclusion of the first go. The Finals will take place Tuesday, July 7 at 5:30 PM (doors open at 4:00 PM). Thanks to our friends at Visit Fort Worth,  complimentary Orange Lines will take attendees from downtown to the stockyards on Monday and Tuesday. For more information, please click here.
