Texas FFA Convention Update
Registration Updates
Thank you for your patience as we secured a replacement for the convention concert. We appreciate your flexibility during this process!
Convention registration will open today, April 29 at 4 pm. Registration will close at 4:00 PM on Friday, June 12.
You may make edits to your convention registration up until the registration deadline. After registration closes, no changes will be permitted, and your chapter will be financially responsible for all registration fees as submitted at the time registration closes.
Convention registration will be completed this year through a system called Cvent to streamline check-in, consolidate credentials into one badge, and improve security.
To begin registration, advisors must send the provided link and each student’s FFA ID directly to the parent/guardian. Parents/guardians are required to complete the student profile and electronically sign the waiver before any convention selections can be made.
Advisors may not complete waivers on behalf of students or families. Doing so violates the intent of the waiver and may create legal and liability concerns. The waiver is in place to protect the student, the advisor, Texas FFA, and all individuals involved in the convention. While we understand this step requires additional coordination, it is essential to ensure that parents/guardians have formally granted permission for their student to participate. Advisors should communicate clear deadlines to families and monitor completion to ensure all requirements are met prior to registration.
Any guests that will be attending the convention can register with the link provided below. Waivers and payment will be required at the time of registration.
A step-by-step guide is available here, and our team is here to assist as you navigate this new system. We anticipate a number of calls and questions regarding the new system so we do ask that you be patient as we work to support over 1100 chapters and a multitude of guests.

There were a number of cancelled rooms on the April 22 cancellation deadline. As a result, we do have a good amount of two bed rooms available across several hotels across the city. If your chapter or guests are in need of rooms, please use this link to make those reservations.
Convention Concert
Please be reminded that the concert capacity will be limited this year to ensure safety and allow for appropriate ingress and egress within the convention center. We are required to adhere to capacity limits established by the convention center and Fire Marshal. The overflow area will be available for advisors and other students who do not wish to purchase a concert ticket. Additional activities will still be available on Tuesday night, including the rodeo finals, a magic show on the Lone Star Stage, and various local attractions.
Texas FFA Business Session Packet
The 98th Annual Texas FFA Business Session Packet is posted here on the Texas FFA Convention website. This will be updated after the Q4 Board Meeting in June to include the organizational budget for the 2026-2027 fiscal year. We encourage you to review the updated packet in preparation for the convention and delegate business session.
The association balance sheet and 2026–2027 budget will be added following the June Q4 Board Meeting. For questions, please contact jennifer@texasffa.org.
Texas FFA Rodeo
Texas FFA Rodeo registration will open in conjunction with the convention registration. New this year, students will complete the application, gain parent and FFA Advisor approval and will then have to pay via credit card at the time of registration.
Rodeo contestants will receive two wristbands to be on the grounds each day of the rodeo. All other attendees must purchase a discounted ticket. All rodeo contestants will receive complimentary convention registration.
Texas FFA attendees may purchase discounted rodeo tickets here. Everyone must have a ticket to enter, and discounted tickets will not be available onsite. The rodeo will be held at Cowtown Coliseum. On Monday, July 6, the Long Go begins at 10:00 AM (doors open at 8:30 AM), followed by the Second Go at 1:00 PM or at the conclusion of the first go. The Finals will take place Tuesday, July 7 at 5:30 PM (doors open at 4:00 PM). Thanks to our friends at Visit Fort Worth, complimentary Orange Lines will take attendees from downtown to the stockyards on Monday and Tuesday. For more information, please click here.
